- Unifilio Mail and Unifilio Cloud remain active during transfer
How domain transfers work
1. Unlock at current registrar
Log in to your current registrar and disable the transfer lock on the domain.
2. Get the authorization code
Request the EPP / authorization code from your current registrar. It looks like a password.
3. Wait for completion
Transfers typically complete within 5 days if the losing registrar does not reject it.
Certain domains may be subject to a 60-day transfer lock after registration or registrant contact changes. Unifilio will clearly indicate your domain's eligibility status before you begin a transfer.
Active Transfers
Transfers in progress, with the latest status confirmed by the registry or registrar.
Transfer Status
What each status means. Unifilio never shows a status the provider has not reported.
- Pending
- Request accepted by Unifilio and awaiting the registry or current registrar.
- Approved
- The registry or losing registrar has approved the request; completion is not yet confirmed.
- Completed
- The registry has confirmed the domain moved. Shown only after provider confirmation.
- Rejected
- The registry or registrar declined the request. A reason and recovery steps are shown.
- Cancelled
- The request was withdrawn before completion, where the provider allowed it.

Transfer Requirements
Check these before you start to avoid delays or rejections.
To transfer in
- Domain is unlocked at your current registrar.
- You have the authorization (EPP) code from your current registrar.
- The registrant email is reachable for any approval request.
- The domain is not within a 60-day registration or contact-change restriction.
To transfer out
- You are the verified owner or an authorized account member.
- AUTHENTOK™ verification is completed before any lock or code change.
- You have copied DNS records if the new registrar will host DNS.
- You understand how Unifilio Mail™ delivery depends on your MX records.
Requesting a transfer out never deletes your Unifilio Mail™ mailbox, Unifilio Cloud™ files, or account history.
